LAN.ECO is born from a research journey that starts with the material and goes back to itsorigins.

A new part of the MTT collection dedicated to fabrics made without the use of chemicaladditives, enhancing the natural characteristics of wool while preserving its original shades.

A project driven by the desire to understand the raw material more deeply, respect its identityand transform it into fabrics capable of telling its story.

LAN.ECO looks to the future through its origins.

The wool used for LAN.ECO comes from some of the regions of the world renowned forwool production: South America, Australia and New Zealand.

Different territories, shaped by diverse environmental conditions and farming traditions, produce wools with distinctive characteristics. It is precisely this variety that makes every fibre unique.

The quality of the raw material is the starting point of our research: understanding where thewool comes from, selecting it and studying its characteristics allows us to create a fabric thatpreserves and enhances its identity.

For MTT, the supply chain begins long before the fabric itself.

LAN.ECO is based on a precise choice: to reduce intervention on the material and allowwool to tell its own story.

The fabrics in the collection are made without the use of chemical additives, preserving thenatural shades of the fibres used.

The result is a colour palette that comes directly from the wool itself: shades, variations anddepths that belong to the material.

An approach that enhances the purity of the fibre and its natural identity, transforming anintrinsic characteristic of the material into a distinctive feature of the fabric.

Wool is a natural fibre with extraordinary properties.

SoftnessThe structure of the fibre gives fabrics a soft and comfortable hand, making them suitable fordifferent constructions and applications.

PurityLAN.ECO enhances the fibre in its most natural form, preserving its appearance andcharacteristics without the use of chemical additives.

Thermal insulationWool naturally retains heat, helping to maintain a comfortable temperature and making itparticularly suitable for fabrics designed for the colder seasons.

Water resistanceThe natural structure of the fibre provides water-repellent properties that help protect thefabric from moisture while allowing it to retain its breathability.

No toxicity from added chemical agentsThe absence of chemical additives in LAN.ECO fabrics reflects a precise choice: to enhancethe material without adding substances that alter its natural identity.

One of the distinctive elements of LAN.ECO is its colour.

Not a palette created artificially, but a selection of shades that comes directly from thedifferent wools used.

Colour variations become part of the character of the fabric: natural tones, nuances anddepths that reflect the origin of the fibre and its uniqueness.

Every colour is, first and foremost, a colour of wool.

Like every MTT project, LAN.ECO takes shape through a supply chain built on expertise, people and different stages of production. The selection of the raw material is only the beginning.

The wool is transformed into yarn and subsequently into fabric through processes thatrequire technical knowledge, experience and continuous attention to the material. Every stage contributes to the final result, and every choice can influence the fabric’s hand, structure, weight and perception.

Behind every LAN.ECO fabric, therefore, there is not only a natural fibre, but a process inwhich the material meets textile expertise.

LAN.ECO represents MTT’s desire to continue exploring new possibilities without losing itsconnection to its history.

Textile tradition becomes the starting point for a contemporary approach to materials:observing, experimenting, modifying and starting again until the right balance betweennaturalness, performance and aesthetics is achieved.
