The journey of our company dates back to 1961 when founder Carlo Pacini laid the groundwork in a small municipality in the Metropolitan City of Florence, Calenzano. With a rapid rise to prominence, our company has transformed itself into a producer of distinctive, high-quality loden fabrics.
This transformation took place in the 1970s, when we achieved a significant milestone by proudly securing the ‘Original Loden’ trademark.
At the same time, we remained at the forefront of innovation, promoting and presenting the unique and unmistakable ‘Pratese’ Melton fabric. As the decade approached its peak, we embarked on a significant venture by introducing a new innovative line of boiled wool.

In the following decade, the second generation, marked by the entrance of daughter Carla and subsequently her husband Enrico Reali, became integral to the company’s evolution.

The mission was multifaceted and involved strategically developing new solid color and patterned structures alongside timeless classics represented by boiled wools and meltons.
In addition to the commitment to cutting-edge products, the second generation embraced a broader vision, incorporating a strong focus on sustainability. By employing eco-conscious practices in their business ethos, they made significant contributions to the industry’s sustainable evolution.
